Client: personal project

At my parents Seder table I always thought that “the four sons” were 4 personality types… But what if all four are all part of one person. After all, a truly wise person is not one who has never contemplated wickedness, but one who has won it over. A wicked person is not someone who has never known simple goodness, but perhaps someone who was left dissatisfied by it. A simple person was, at some point, someone who didn’t know how to ask. Perhaps, every year when we leave Mitzrayim we should treat all these traits in us as if they’re our sons. We cannot leave them behind or deny them. To truly advance we must consider them all and hopefully culminate in wisdom.
